How to “Green” Your St. Patrick’s Day

How to -Green- Your St. Patrick's DayHappy St. Patrick’s Day!

Today (and every day) we are looking for ways to make our lives a little bit greener.  Fortunately, going green can be simple.  With a few changes to your home routines, you can improve your recycling habits this St. Patrick’s Day.

How to Improve Your Recycling:

Reduce & Reuse First – Everyone knows the saying “reduce, reuse, recycle,” but do you really take the steps to reduce and reuse before putting out your recycling?  Take a look at your daily routines and see where you can cut back.  Consider using a reusable water bottle or buying food in bulk instead of pre-packaged!

Know What You Can’t Recycle – Do you know the recycling rules for your area?  They are right here on our website!  Take a look at what you can and can’t recycle.

Buy Recycled Goods – Take a look at the packaging the next time you head to the supermarket. Opt for tissues, papers, glasses, and other products made from recycled materials.

Know When to Let Things Go – Not everything can be recycled.  Consider donating gently used items to a charity or if the item can’t be donated, we offer junk removal services for larger cleaning projects.
